Membership is available to employees and retirees of Santa Clara County.
Membership is extended to family members as well.
Mirastar offers membership to companies and organizations that do business with or receive funding from any Corporate Partner within our field of membership.
This includes your family members (spouses, children, parents, siblings, grandparents, grandchildren, step-siblings, step-children, adoptive relationships, and persons living in the same residence maintaining a single economic unit.

*The referring and referred members will each receive the $100 referral offer deposited into their Mirastar Federal Credit Union (Mirastar) account after the referred member opens a qualifying account and meets account and deposit requirements. The referred member must establish a qualifying account with Mirastar which consists of a Share Savings Account with at least a $1 deposit and a Checking Account. The referred member must also establish a direct deposit and have received $1,000 in direct deposits within the first 60 days of establishing their membership and enroll in digital banking for both referring and referred members to receive the $100 referral offer. Referred members must qualify for membership. This is a limited time offer valid for referred memberships opened between 04/01/2025 to 05/31/2025. Both referring and referred members must be 18 years of age or older. The referred member must not have had any membership, account or loan with Mirastar during the preceding six months. Referral incentive deposited to referring member’s Mirastar share account 90 days after referred member satisfies all requirements for promotion. Existing Mirastar members must be in good standing in order to start referring additional new members. It is the policy of Mirastar to deny credit union products and services to any member who has caused the credit union to suffer a financial loss or any member who has been identified as likely to cause the credit union a financial loss. Referring members can only receive up to $500 in referrals per calendar year. The recipient is solely responsible for any state or federal taxes on deposited referral offers.
